Nuclear imaging and PET scan
X-rays
ultrasound imaging and Doppler effect
Magnetic nuclear resonance spectroscopy and imaging
Infrared spectrosocpy
Absorption and fluorescence spectrosocpy |
 |
Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| The course aims to introduce in a simple but rigorous manner the physical concepts which are the basis of several medical imaging techniques. Students will be able to understand where the information is coming from, they will be aware of the limitations, possible artifacts and side-effects of the techniques. |
