Course contents :  
The course is divided in tow parts:
  • Introduction to quantum physics (with experiments on early-time modern physics)
  • Physical and geometrical optics
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The aim of the course consists in teaching the processes of interaction between radiations and matters making use of complementary concepts such as physical optics and quantum physics

Physics and Mathematics learned during 1st Bachelor

Quantum physics:
Theory: 20h
Lab and training sessions: 20+5h

Physical optics:
Theory: 20h
Lab and training sessions: 10+5h

Assessment methods and criteria :  
The first session is a written exam which takes place at the end of the 1st period (January).

The second session is a written exam which takes place in Aug./Sept.
Lab reports are quoted; The quotation will be taken into account at a level of 25%.
