Course contents :  
The course of 2011-2012 will focus on the topic of the representation of the divine in ancient Greece. Taking into account some concrete acts in the religious life of the Greek cities (sacrificial ritual, installation of divine statues, etc.), we will try to understand the Greek way of representing the divine world and how such a polytheistic system was at work in the everyday life of these communities.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
A previous attendance to the course "Greek religion" is necessary. The knowledge of Greek language is not required but can be helpful.
