Course contents :  
Introductive theoretical aspects to a practical training in clinical pharmacy on hospital wards:

Regulation, organisation, hospital pharmacy missions - Drug distribution system -Medication errors and drug surveillance - drug management of ward stocks - Drug dosage regimen control - Therapeutic drug monitoring - Biological follow up of drug therapeutic and side effects - Antibiotherapy - Switch therapy - Analysis methodology of patient drug profile, practical examples.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To develop skills in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.

To develop the capacity to detect and to solve problems related to drug prescription and administration
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Good knowledge of French speaking and reading

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Theoretical aspects alternately with practical training in different hospital departments during the first 3 weeks of the 1st semester.

Copies of slides and relevant documents.

Evaluation of acquired knowledges and skills based on activity report and presentation of a clinical case study
