Course contents :  
The course in dermatologie aims to provide a general summary of dermatoses frequently occurring in daily medical practice.
The learning objectives are the recognition of clinical signs of the major dermatoses, to provide a differential diagnosis, to decide which complementary examinations are useful, and a first therapeutic approach.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The main objective is to provide students with the necessary pathological knowledge and techniques so that they can act accordingly when confronted with dermatological problems.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic knowledge of the following fields is indispensable: embryology, anatomy, histology, physiology, physiopathology, virology, parasitology, and bacteriology. Advanced knowledge of semiology and propedeutics are essential in order to approach this subject.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Practical knowlegde will be acquired during the 3 and 4 master when the student visits the in and outpatient clinics.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course runs during the second semester and takes place in the CHU lecture halls. Please refer to the vademcum for more details

The powerpoint presentation serves as a guideline and is available online
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written exam (Multiple Choice Questions) and an oral exam in the framework of a multi-disciplinary exam.
