Course contents :  
The course on diseases of the cardiovascular system of the second cycle describes the essential clinical aspects as follows: medical, surgical, pathological, pharmacological, radiological and resuscitation. Cardiovascular semiology is first described. Support diagnosis and treatment is presented for coronary artery disease, vascular (arterial and venous systems), valvular, myocardial, pericardial. The course is also considering heart failure, hypertension, pulmonary embolism, arrhythmias and prevention methods. The major congenital heart disease are also discussed.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The main objective of the course is to prepare students for the management of patients with cardiovascular disease. After the theoretical course, practical work and internships, students should be able to thoroughly examine a patient by asking the right questions and interpreting the answers correctly, perform a careful physical examination, to deduce a diagnostic procedure to select one or more examination (s) complement (s) required to know the value and limitations and interpret the results carefully, to present the essential elements of decision-making algorithms and treatment recommendations. xx

Written exam (MCQ, open-ended questions and short open-ended question) and oral part of a multidisciplinary review. xx
