Course contents :  
In the oceans, chemical, biological and physical processes interact in a complex and dependant way. This course specifically aims to give the basis of aquatic chemistry for the students in the Master in Oceanography.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Introduction to cycles of organic and inorganic carbon, organic and inorganic nutrients, and biogases in various marine ecosystems.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basics in chemistry
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
5 h + 2 d of field work in Calvi (Corsica)
