Course contents :  
Introduction to scientific and research activities of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To give the students who are interested in this area the opportunity to develop their skills in an analysis laboratory and to participate in research activities.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
An interest in analytical sciences
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Internship in association with analytical chemistry partners: 15 hours (CHIM0354-1 (http://progcours.ulg.ac.be/cocoon/cours/CHIM0354-1.html))
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Term Q9 (see the handbook). From mid-September to mid-December. Internship of a minimum of 225 hours combined with specialised seminars on the chosen subject.
Recommended or required readings :  
Will depend on the activity chosen.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written report on internship (following the specifications in the handbook) to be defended publicly.
