Course contents :  
The course will be divided into 4 chapters. Each part will be illustrated by a seminar given by researchers

I. Mechanisms involved in the innate immune response

II. B- and T-cell generation, activation and differenciation.

III.Vaccines

IV. Immune escape

Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course will allow a more detailed approach of some aspects of immunology.
Scientists will present their research work focused on immunological aspects.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
General Immunology
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
1h30 lectures (2nd semester).
Recommended or required readings :  
All the illustrations used during the course (slide show) will be available
(print version or digital format -MyULg)
Assessment methods and criteria :  
A scientific publications concerning the thematics presented during the lectures will be presented by each student at the end of the semester.
