Introduction to the architecture and to the design of drivelines, powertrains and braking systems and their major components :
  • Layout
  • Gearboxes
  • Clutches
  • Differentials
  • Driveshafts
  • Modelling of drive line and powertrain
  • Braking systems
Lab Works : brake test bed, gear box and differential manipulations

  • Knowledge of fundamentals of drivelines and braking systems

  • Basics in mechanics and machine elements

  • Lab Works : brake test bed, gear box and differential manipulations

The lecture is given in English in one week from 24 to 30 November 2010 at the Campus Automobile in Spa-Francorchamps
