Solidification of metals and metallic alloys. Thermal and thermomecanical treatment of metals and alloys. Corrosion of metals . Surface treatment of metals.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Establish links between microstructure and in service properties of metals in relation with the processing.

Physics of metals.

Visits of factories.

Theoretical lectures and practical workshops during 1° quadrimester.
