Course contents :  
The course is dedicated to the study of the theory of language of the Danish linguist Louis Hjelmslev (1899-1965), to its historical situation as well as to its reception.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
1. To develop a heuristic reading of scientific texts. 2. To compare the linguistic study with the philosophical study of the language.
