Course contents :  
Advanced study of contemporary literary and cultural theory. Subject 2011-2012: intertextuality and literature.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Making the students acquainted with reading contemporary theoretical texts. Increasing their capacities to acquire the necessary knowledge on a theoretical subject and the relevant terminology.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
A sufficient command of English for reading and discussing theoretical texts in this language.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Collective readings and discussions of theoretical texts. Individual presentations of chosen texts.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Duration and period : 30h of theory in the 2nd semester

Teaching and learning methods : lectures, individual presentations and collective discussion of the texts under scrutiny.

Texts selected by the lecturer.
