Course contents :  
Advanced introduction to the reading of a work of modern literary prose. Discussion and use of the narratological tools.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Familiarising the students with the current methodology in the field of the interpretation of Dutch literary prose, in order to prepare them for the writing of papers.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
A good command of spoken and written Dutch.

Presentations.

Duration: 30 h of theory in the 2nd semester
