Course contents :  
To decipher, translate and comment on the text of several Greek and Latin literary papyri.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The course demonstrates the contribution of Greek and Latin literary papyri and their importance in the knowledge of ancient literatures and their cultural context during a period of more than a thousand years.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Knowledge of the Greek and Latin languages.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
To prepare the presentation, translation and commentary of a Greek or Latin literary papyrus.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

Photograph and text of the papyri studied on each course + e-learning (WebCT).
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral examination in June.
