Course contents :  
Some main passages from Plato's Republic on poetry as well as Homer's Odyssey 9 will be studied. In addition, there will be private reading from Arrianus.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Linguistic training, illustrating the main literary genres as well as Greek civilisation and stimulating reading of Greek authors.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic knowledge of the ancient Greek language.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Personal preparation is required each week.
