Course contents :  
The objective of this course is to improve the knowledge and the know-how acquired by the student, and this, as much on a linguistic level (structures, specific vocabulary) as in the understanding of German (business-) culture.

Teaching languages: German - and French for grammar explanations

Learning of specific vocabulary
Information about business life in Germany, including several intercultural aspects.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Having passed a test european level A2 in september
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Discovering different aspects of business life in Germany (vocabulary, cultural and economical aspects).
Exercises in the multi-media lab and in the language lab, on line exercises (Lola) and work to do in class or at home to improve the 4 skills (writing, reading, speaking and understanding).
Debates; presentations.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
90 h lectures in the class-room and homework.

Consulting lol@ regularly is absolutely necessary!

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Tests during the year (at least once a month) + written and oral exam at the end of the year
Students have to take all the different parts of the examination, otherwise the final mark will be 0/20
