| This course introduce the concept of Management Information Systems (MIS) .
The focus is set on the most important part of these systems: the DataBase Management Systems. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The main goal is to present and to familiarize the students with the tools they will certainly use during their professional life.
We want also to open their mind and to prepare them to the future evolutions of their work implied by the adoption of new technologies. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Development of a DBMS. This work is a part of the final examination and is compulsory. |
