| [This course will be taught from the academic year 2012-2013.]
This will be a thematic week introducing students to the analysis of biological data from high-throughput technologies (e.g., genomics, methylomics, transcriptomics and proteomics). Specifically, the course will focus on the use of the language R and of the Bioconductor software package, which are popular tools in bioinformatics.
There will be very few theory per se, but rather a variety of biological questions to address on the computer (either individually or in groups, depending on the moment). |

| Basic knowledge of genomics, bioinformatics and computer programming (if any). |
