Course contents :  
- Tree architecture : spatial and temporal localization of primary and secondary growth , as influencing tree morphology and crown structure. Architectural models. - Physiological basis of tree development and coordinated growth. - Impact of cultural practices on the tree structure and development; conditions of their applications. - Principles of fruit arboriculture and ornamental arboriculture
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Principles of tree management and cultural practices in fruit arboriculture and ornamental arboriculture. After completing the course the student is expected to - To apprehend the fundamentals of tree structure management in fruit and ornamental arboriculture - To discuss the environmental and technical conditions of orchard implementation,following a decision system approach - To argument the specific techniques of management in fruit and ornamental arboriculture
