| - Analysis of the characteristics and specificities of horticultural productions.
- Management and controls of the crop climate and microclimatic factors : light, temperature, and other factors of significance (wind, CO2).
- Management and controls of edaphic factors : substrates properties ; soilless systems ; microorganisms and symbiotic associations. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Principles of horticulture science: description and analysis of the physiological and technological basis. Principles of plant production management : approach of methods and techniques by case study. After completing the course the student is expected to - To apprehend the specificities of the horticulture sector in terms of crop and business objectives - To describe and justify the sectors and sub-sectors with regard to commodities - To analyze basic techniques and justify applications - To argument technological options |
