Broad view of French history since 1814 with special attention given to political and institutional history.

Single out the various socio-political changes in French contemporary history.

Lectures partly based on the analysis of political cartooning.

Oral examination in January and September.
Organizational remarks :  
ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will thus be delivered in French, as well as the notes and the examinations. Foreign students are expected to master the language first.
