Course contents :  
The 15 hours of theory will be devoted to a summary of the principal means and actors on foreign affairs. The second part will ask students to 1. take a passive part in scientific caucuses linked with the subject; 2. turn in the written / oral results of personal research work ; 3. participate in an educational travel linked with the subject of the course...
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To train last year students for further activities in historical research.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
To have followed the course on Belgian diplomatical history (HIST0078-1) or any other course relating to foreign affairs will be an asset.

Students will be evaluated on their involvment in the various activities suggested and on their written and oral reports.
