Course contents :  
History of information with particular attention given to the history of the European and American press.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
This course gives to history and journalism students the main landmarks of the historical evolution of medias.

None.

Lectures are accompanied by illustrated Power Point presentations.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Face-to-face, on Tuesdays 16-18 (Q1).

Notes in printed form and on line will be available.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written examination in January and September.
Organizational remarks :  
ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will thus be delivered in French, as well as the notes and the examinations. Foreign students are expected to master the language first.
