Overview of the history of the United States in the 20th century
Overview of the history of Belgium in the 20th century

- To encourage students to become responsible citizens
- To allow them to understand the world in which they are evolving
- To develop their critical mind, their ability to summarise and their general knowledge

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Ex-cathedra classes. Students will be asked to prepare summaries of articles relating to the subjects dealt with in class. They should follow the news in order to support their course notes.

Course notes and press articles for analysis will be available on the internet.
