2. Description of the main tropical floristic regions
2.1. Africa
2.2. Australia
2.3. America
2.4. Asia
3. Impacts of human activities and sustainable management |

 |
 | 1. Introduction
2. Diversity and level of losses due to plant pathogens
3. National and international legislation measures
4. Procedure of Pest risk assessment (PRA procedure) |
|
 |
Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
|
 | | Tropical Ecosystems |

 |
 | After completing the course the student is expected to:
1. Be familiar with the main characteristics of tropical ecoregions.
2. Be able to propose management activities. |
 | | Crop protection |

 |
 | The course describes the main groups of plant pathogens. The course briefly describes the pest risk assessment procedure set up in the frame of national and international regulations.
After completing the course the student is expected to
1. To measure the diversity of the levels of losses linked to plant pathogens
2. To apply the FAO procedure of phytosanitary risks assessment(PRA procedure) |
