Course contents :  
The course aims at giving to the students the bases to understand and control a policy of human resource management which takes into account the stakes related to the increasing diversity of the personnel, of the labour, customer and user.
  • management of diversity: what?
  • characteristics to be taken into account: gender, national origin, culture, disabilities, age, homosexuality, physical appearance
  • management of diversity, action plan to the equality, positive actions and positive discriminations
  • management of diversity: why?
  • diagnosis of the representativeness and discriminations
  • making of action plan and indicators necessary to the follow-up
  • identification of practices linked with the HRM
  • success factors
  • limits
Learning outcomes of the course :  
  • to give an outline of the principal currents of research and practices of diversity management
  • to understand the stakes and difficulties of diversity management;
  • to confront the theoretical contributions with the reality of practises.
