Einführung in die Geschichte der deutschen Literatur von den Anfängen bis zur Barockzeit.
Introduction to the history of German literature I: from the beginnings to the 17th century.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Die Vorlesung soll die Studenten mit den verschiedenen mittelalterlichen und modernen Epochen der deutschen Literatur bis zum 17. Jahrhundert vertraut machen.
The lecture familiarizes the students with the different medieval and modern epochs of German literature, from the origins to the 17th century.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Die Vorlesung wird auf Deutsch gehalten.
The lecture is given in German (with explanations in French).
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Über 2 Semester, eine Semesterwochenstunde.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral exam in June, test in January.
Mündliche Prüfung am Ende des Sommersemesters, Test nach dem ersten Semester.
