Course contents :  
During this lecture, the students learn how to make a geological map and to represent it by means of geographic information systems. The map will be produced for a region in the Condroz. 2 days of field studies will be completed together with the professor, 3 will done alone. Using the field observations, a map as well as a geological profile will be produced in digital format along with a report.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The goal is to produce a digital geological map.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basics in geological mapping.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
5 days in the field, 2 together wit the professor.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The lecture includes 5 days in the field, 2 together with the professor. Transport is done by car. 5 to 10 hours are spent on learning how to use GIS tools.

None.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Evaluation of fieldwork, report, digital map and geological proofile.
