| Study of marine sediments and sedimentary rocks, with emphasis on carbonates. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Lectures with pictures, movies and rock samples. Fieldtrips in various palaeoenvironments (from turbidites to reefs). |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| Face-to-face. Lectures are given in B20. Fieldtrips are organized in different localities from Belgium or France. |
