| The aim of the course is to present the climate system and its main forcingsand, to define the paleoclimate approach. |

| Course will be given during the first semester. 10 times 3 hours par week. Lectures followed by exercices. Room: building B18, Geology |

Assessment methods and criteria :
|
| Examination will include two parts.
Theory (60 % of final quotation). Individual oral examination (15 minutes + preparation). Comments of figures and/or tables presented during the lectures.
TP
Written report of exercices (max. 2 pages each - 15% of evaluation). Oral presentation of one exercice (25% note finale). |
