Course contents :

| Main types of sedimentary deposits. Properties of extracted rocks in relation with their genesis and their industrial use. Some aspects concerning carbonated rocks. Geological model to forecast carbonate deposits. |

| Basic knowledge and methodology for prospecting, recognizing, developing and mining sedimentary non-metallic deposits. |

| Macro and microscopic study of rocks having an economic interest. Description of a borehole. Appraisal of a deposit. Visit of quarries. |
