Learning outcomes of the course :  
Introduction to sedimentary petrology. The student has to recognize the different sedimentary process.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
General geology.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Lectures with pictures, movies and rock samples.Description and interpretation of different types of sedimentary structures based on rock samples. Fieldtrips: karstic features and littoral sedimentation.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Face-to-face and online lecture notes.
