Course contents :

| For 14 years, the Sporck Chair, created through the Sporck Foundation, allows to invite a foreign renowned colleague in order to ensure students of Master in Geographical Sciences a teaching about a non-treated field at the ULg. This year, the holder of this chair is, Marie-Françoise Durand, Professor at Sciences Po Paris, in charge of the cartography workshop
The course will focus on "Globalization process. Cartographic representations and Analysis" and will be organized in five parts:
1. Introduction: globalizations from the past and contemporary processes
2. State actors and interstate governance of today's world
3. Non-state actors worldwide
4. Individual actors, mobility and network nodes
5. Peace-war and human rights |
