Sharing treatments and knowledge on geographic data
Deployment of a GIS on a distributed architecture
Web Programming for the publication of geographic information - Client-side solutions, - Server-side solutions
GML (Geographic Mark-up Language) mark-up language for describing geographic data
Web_GIS: OGC geographic Web services (WMS, WFS, WCS, CWS, WPS)
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Lectures in GIS and data base management systems
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Theory: 4 x 2.5 h
One exercise carried out by the class consisting of a prototype of GIS in a client-server-web architecture (design, implementation, web application development)
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Face-to-face learning for the theory.
Autonomy in organizing and carrying out the exercise by the group.
