| The course is a fast introduction to some topics of the physical geography (atmosphere, water surface and evolution of the forms of the relief). It is organized around some modules sets of themes |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To present the contribution of the physical geography in the fields of geographical and related sciences. It insists more particularly on the role of interface that climatology occupies within sciences of the Earth |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| The theoretical course does not require preliminary knowledge others that those awaited from a student of baccalaureat in sciences. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Five training sessions of three hours |
 |
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| The theoretical course as the practical working sessions in room are organized in three hour modules. |

Recommended or required readings :

| Written notes and slides are distributed by intranet as course and practical works progress. |
 |
Assessment methods and criteria :
 |
| The final test dealing with the theoretical and practical matters is organized in the form of a written and an oral examinations. Part of the written examination is organized in the form of a MCQ. At least two open questions are put. A scientific calculator is necessary for the written examination. An evaluation of the sessions of PW of the year intervenes in the final evaluation in addition to the one of the exercices of the written examination. A written examination and/or an oral examination are organized in second session. |
