| Basics of GIS: geo-referenciation, vector and raster geographic data, visualization, GPS acquisition (option).
Using GIS software, both open source and commercial. |

| Integrated during the lectures, with practical works achieved on PC with dedicated software (Open Source, Idrisi and ArcGIS) + optional field work (GPS) |
