| This course presents the fundamentals of thermodynamics with a focus on the applications to the environmental problems |

| To show the role of thermodynamics in the understanding of environmental problems.
To explain the basis concepts of thermodynamics allowing the evaluation of the sustainable character of some environmental options. |
