Course contents :

| The course is organised through the following issues :
- Scientists in the wild : the scientific expertise in society;
- The relation between technical choices and social choices;
- Presentation of different models of collaboration between scientists and laypersons;
- Public deliberation of scientifical and technological knowledges and their co-construction in partnership with non-scientists (local residents, patients,...).

Learning outcomes of the course :

| This course is dedicated to assess the role of scientific and technological activities involved in complex environnemental issues. The aim is to help students to take advantage of differences and tensions between different modes of knowledge during new and original research's partnerships. |
