Course contents :  
The student's training will achieved through the examination of different matters that are often to be dealt with when managing forest lands :
- comparing the judicial status of public and privalte forest lands : planning, selling, exploiting, ...;
- criminal forest laws;
- controlling afforestation and deforestation (distance rules for planting, environmental planning and urbanism order);
- nature preservation acts (among others Natura 2000 sites), hunting, fishing laws;
- assessment;
- civil law matters related with forest lands management: boundary marking, rights of way, systems of contractual and criminal liability.
The training is also achieved through the study of the regulations enforcing the issus of Environment Permits and "Permis Unique" and the regulations concerning the environmental impact assessment of projects, plans and programs.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Introducing students to elements of forest and environmental law
After completing the course the student is expected to
First identify the main legislative dispositions and rules to apply to the issue, and second to comment them in a relevant way
