Course contents :  
The course consists in a study of themes related to life within businesses and contracts of employment : authority relationships, privacy of employees, transfer of undertaking, working time, disciplinary procedures used by employers, temporary work.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To familiarize students with some of the major issues of employment law.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The course is based on participative teaching methods. Students are encouraged to prepare the relevant cases before each course and take an active part in it. They must also write two papers of about four pages on an assigned topic. They are invited to attend a conference that will take place on 18 November 2010 at Louvain-la-Neuve, entiteled, « Privacy at Work ».
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course is given during the first semester, on Wednesday mornings, from 11:00 a.m to 13:00 a.m and on Friday mornings, from 8 :30 a.m to 10 :30 a.m, until end of November.

The form of the assesment is an oral examination, lasting about 20 minutes
