Introduction to what is involved in scientific publishing and to major tools that can help to locate scientific information

Introduction to methods used to locate and convey scientific information

Locate information on a given topic in libraries and on the computer
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course begins with a powerpoint presentation followed by a guided tour of the library. Next, students have to solve a specific research problem

Notes on the online space of this course. On the area of this course is also filed powerpoint presentations, tutorials and quizzes.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Report on and oral presentation of results.
