Course contents :  
Presentation of the methodology of quantitative survey, step by step Definition of terms (variable, item...). Explanations about the conception of questionnaires, the sampling, the survey, the encoding and the preparation of the file for the analyses. A theme is choosen. The students participate individually / in group in the various stages of the work. The created file will be used in the second quarter within the framework of the course(price) of statistics

to give skills to approach the research as actor or analyst
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
A regular and active presence is necessary and required. Any problem of organization must be mentioned as quickly as possible.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
As already mentioned, a practical exercise is integrated into the theoretical course
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Necessary presence but outside tasks of investigation and survey will be asked
Recommended or required readings :  
Notes will be available , according to needs. The reading of articles will be recommmanded and necessary
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Theoretical exam + evaluation of the research/field work
