Lecturer :  Xavier Fettweis
Language(s) of instruction :
French language
Course contents :

Only the elements of Fortran/Linux used in climatology will be teach.
Learning outcomes of the course :
The lectures aim to familiarize the students to some computer tools (Linux, Fortran and Ferret) used to process the climate data and, to run and analyze the climate models.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :
CLIM0014-1 Programmation au service de la climatologie (partim 1)
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
The exercises asked every week will be mainly do during the tutorials where the teacher will be present to help the students.
