Course contents :  
The course is divided into 5 parts:
Climatology and topoclimatology of the polar zone
Climatology and topoclimatology of the temperate zone
Climatology and topoclimatology of the subtropical zone Climatology and topoclimatology of the tropical zone
Climatology and topoclimatology of the equatorial zone
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Fine analysis of topoclimatic specificities of great climatic zones of the earth.

Analysis of space-time variabilities of principal climatic parameters.

Taking into account of the distributions of oceans-continents and orography together planetary and regional atmospheric circulations.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic concepts in climatology and meteorology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Personal reports on the topoclimates of studied zonal climates and powerpoints to present to the other students, professors and lecturers
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course is given in 5 thematic meetings of 2 times 3 hours ( preparation followed by seminar).
Recommended or required readings :  
The notes of course are prepared by the students according to the advance of the course (abstracts from specialized publications, personal and/or group reports, power-points )

oral examination: 5/20
