Course contents :  
The principles of quantitative analytical chemistry, general definitions, preparation of samples,expression of results.
Introduction to instrumental inorganic analysis :
-molecular absorption spectrophotometry
-atomic absorption spectrophotometry
-flame emission photometry
-polarography
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To tackle the fundamentals of the quantitative analytical chemistry applied to the inorganic analysis of feeds (nutrient elements and heavy metals)
After completing the course the student is expected to
- understand the principle of molecular and atomic spectrophotometry as well as polarographic analysis of heavy metals in feedstuffs;
- be more familiar with the practical use of the analytical techniques described during the course;
- interprete and evaluate the results in a structured report of analysis.
