Course contents :
| The principles of quantitative analytical chemistry, general definitions, preparation of samples, expression of results. Introduction to instrumental inorganic analysis : -molecular absorption spectrophotometry -atomic absorption spectrophotometry -flame emission photometry -polarography |
Learning outcomes of the course :
| To tackle the fundamentals of the quantitative analytical chemistry applied to the inorganic analysis of feeds (nutrient elements and heavy metals) After completing the course the student is expected to - understand the principle of molecular and atomic spectrophotometry as well as polarographic analysis of heavy metals in feedstuffs; - be more familiar with the practical use of the analytical techniques described during the course; - interprete and evaluate the results in a structured report of analysis. |
