French language
Course contents :
During this course, the molecular mechanisms involved in DNA replication, transcription and translation will be described. The course includes:
- basic principles of DNA structure as well as gene regulation and function;
- mechanisms of DNA repair, epigenetic regulation, microRNAs, signal transmission and posttranslational modifications;
- molecular biology techniques.
Learning outcomes of the course :
The course aims at presenting the basic principles of molecular biology. After this course, the student should be able to understand the mechanisms of gene regulation (structure, transcription, translation, signal transduction) and their main applications.
