| The purpose of this course is to provide the theoretical basis required to understand the heat and mass exchange processes in the building with a focus on the applications. |

| To provide the theoretical basis required to analyse the heat and mass exchange processes in the building
To present the different possible modelling approaches
To demonstrate techniques on selected examples |

| Fundamentals of heat and mass transfers and thermodynamics |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Each theoretical lecture is followed by a practical period to apply the theoretical developments and based upon real building projects. |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| 2nd semester : a half-day divided into 2h theory and 2h exercise. |
