The theme of this workshop-seminar changes every year but always relates to the observation and analysis of urban practices.
The workshop-seminar is associated with the seminar "pratiques d'appropriation et usages" and with the workshop "lieu commun et urbanité". It aims to move from the observation of collectively used spaces, to identify relevant actors and their roles, to understand the interactions between the actors in the appropriation and production of territory today. In particular, it aims to better understand the role and the place of the architect in such a process.
The workshop-seminar is also based on research of graphic transcriptions that summarise the observations and analysis. It aims to look for innovating graphic tools that can be used as trancription et analysis tools.
