Course contents :  
Two PROJECTS will be offered throughout the year, linked to particular questions, in order to make the student aware of the complexity of architecture and to intergrate diferent specific parameters: - scale, ergonomics
- spatiality
- external constraints, integration
- materiality
- expression
The student will develop his capacity in all the components of the projetation, to generate an analytical frame of mind.


The first project will develop an individual housing, the second one, a small or medium-scale public sector building.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Two PROJECTS are developed during the year.
Regular EXERCISES will complement the ongoing project.
PRESENTATIONS are proposed, about various and specific parameters, in relation with the project.

Readings, references, a journey at the end of the year are organised in order to stimulate the creativity and to "feed" an architectural culture.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
Day-long workshops every week. Students will be split into working groups.
Recommended or required readings :  
Discoveries through travel, presentations and analysis of examples. Research and personal experiences: the student is the agent of his or her own learning.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
In terms of the objectives of the exercise or the project, important criteria will be given in the same time that its contents. The finale grade will demostrate the students'ability to tackle the year ahead.
All work which is not handed in by the relevant deadline, without good reason, will result in a zero grade.
Presence in the workshops is compulory.
